New UFO hearing scheduled (Canva)

Congress hasn’t had a major UFO hearing since July 2023, when whistleblower David Grusch, David Fravor, and Ryan Graves testified. But now the wait is over, and a new hearing is scheduled for November 13.

The Hearing Will Be Chaired by Rep. Nancy Mace, Who Wants Witnesses Who Have ‘Seen Some Sh*t & Can Tell Us Some Stuff’

In an interview with AskaPol, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), revealed that the next House UAP hearing is going to take place on November 13 and she’ll be chairing it.

“I want whistleblowers to feel like they can come forward,” she said. “I want people protected. Every American deserves the right to know how their how their tax dollars are being spent and what it’s being spent on. And if it’s no big deal, why hide it?”

She’s referring to whistleblower David Grusch’s assertion that the U.S. has a secret UAP retrieval and reverse-engineering program. Grusch has said that the program is kept secret from Congress, which prevents them from knowing how tax dollars are spent (among other issues).

“I go to these SCIFS, I’ll go for a briefing in a classified setting, and ‘Well, we can’t tell you,’ because, you know, I’m not read in on it,” Mace said. “How the hell are we supposed to know how much money is being spent on it and where it’s being spent? It’s bullshit. And that’s all I have to say. And I don’t like bullshit, and that’s what we deal with a lot up here. That’s a reason to have these hearings: get information, have greater transparency and put the government on the spot, at the end of the day.”

In a later interview, she told AskAPol that she hopes to have a military veteran among the witnesses.

“I need people who’ve maybe seen some sh*t and can tell us some stuff,” she said. “I want people who’ve actually seen and heard and read.”

She then added that Rep. Tim Burchett and Rep. Ann-Paulina Luna had suggested an admiral with knowledge about USOs (underwater submerged objects.)

She was referring to retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, who disclosed on LinkedIn that he was invited to testify to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) didn’t know about the hearing until AskaPol told him, but then said he had a witness name already in mind that he was going to submit.

And Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) told AskaPol that unlike last year, they won’t be releasing the witness names early.

“We’re trying to get some good witnesses there,” he said. “We don’t want to break them out too early like we did last time and then they get squashed.”

Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Ranking Member, Oversight Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, IT & Government Innovation, told AskaPol that he’s not co-chairing the hearing.

“I don’t control the agenda, she does,” he said, adding that he typically only gets advance notice about a hearing just a few days prior.

“They set the time,” he said. “They decide the witnesses. We get one witness. They get all the rest. I mean, they control everything.”

A day or so before the hearing, you can expect to find a live stream link posted on the GOP Oversight’s YouTube Channel. Last year, the scheduled stream wasn’t posted until just about a week before the July hearing.

Sen. Gillibrand Said the Senate Will Also Hold an AARO Hearing in November

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand told AskaPol that she’s planning to host a public Senate UAP hearing in November with AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) and the new director Dr. Jon Kosloski. The hearing will be an Armed Services hearing (via the subcommittee, Emerginc Threats & Capabilities) that’s open to the public.

Sen. Mark Warner told AskaPol in response: “As we’ve talked about this a lot of times, you know, I think more disclosure the better.”
