The premiere of The Age of Disclosure at South by Southwest (SXSW) in March 2025 has reignited a powerful question: Does the U.S. government know the whereabouts of extraterrestrial technology — or even nonhuman beings themselves? The film, and the comments made during its post-screening Q&A, suggest that the answer may be closer to “yes” than ever before.
Revelations from the Documentary and Its Participants
During the Q&A, a key figure featured in the documentary — Jay Stratton — made a striking claim:
“I have given [the government] not only the existence of non human intelligence, but the address to go look to see. And they were denied access. So with your help, and your help, let’s change the world.”
This statement echoes recent congressional testimony from former intelligence officials who allege not only the existence of nonhuman technology, but also that they know the precise locations where such materials are held. David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer, told lawmakers he was aware of “exact locations” of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), but that both he and members of Congress were denied access to these sites. Grusch’s testimony is based on interviews with more than 40 witnesses, many of whom have provided classified evidence, photographs, and official documents-evidence he claims is being intentionally withheld from public and legislative oversight.

A Pattern of Restricted Access
The documentary highlights a pattern: credible insiders say they have directed officials to specific sites where nonhuman technology-or even biological material-can be found, only to have access blocked or denied at the highest levels. This raises serious questions about who controls this information and why it remains hidden, even from elected representatives tasked with oversight.
What Are They Hiding?
Director Dan Farah’s film draws on testimony from dozens of high-ranking government, military, and intelligence officials. Many claim that since at least 1947, the U.S. has secretly recovered technology-and even remains-of nonhuman origin. The documentary suggests that much of this knowledge remains classified, with only a fraction legally available for public discussion. Farah’s goal is to bring these “fundamental truths” to light: humanity is not alone, and the government may know exactly where to find proof.
The Stakes: National Security and Public Right to Know
If these accounts are accurate, the implications are profound. Not only is there a global race to reverse-engineer nonhuman technology, but the public and even Congress may be kept deliberately in the dark about the most significant discovery in human history. Lawmakers and whistleblowers have repeatedly called for greater transparency and oversight, arguing that the people have a right to know what their government knows about nonhuman intelligence.
